Hi All,
Sorry for the delay over the weekend.
1. You only need four acrylic templates. There was a mistake on the drop page that included another set of templates. This has been removed.
2. The book is required for the pattern but it is set up as Optional as people may already own it.
why is no one answering these inquiries? Clock is ticking and still no answers or clarification. If this drop was offered before, was the question ever answered about the templates etc?
Seems you are repeating this drop with the same misinformation with the 2 photos of different tempkstes but staying it comes with four. Please clarify like several of us asked LAST time this drop happened !
GUESS WHAT! The book is optional, BUT YOU WILL NEED IT, FOR THE PATTERN. There are no instructions or pattern with this drop, only papers and four templates. Still not sure that you will need those additional templates either.
So far, the savings is $20 for the four templates. ....and you have to purchase the book, That makes this quilt over $100 before starting or purchasing fabric.
Need answer to template question! I suspect you need all of the tempates to create the quilt, since the medallion in the center has some shapes that look like the "other" 11 templates shown in this drop. Please clarify.
Be nice if there was answers to all the Questions for this Mass Drops.
Please answer as I would like to know about this drop to. Information is wrong .
It seems to me that the four acrylic templates included in the drop are specifically for the Can Can quilt. The others to the left are templates that can also be used for other designs and can be purchased separately if you do not have them already from previous designs. Some are familiar to me and I may already have them, such as the J and K templates that were included in at least two other designs for which I bought the templates, I will just have to double-check my supply. All in all, by having started other English paper pieced quilts ,I can say that the paper pieces are more important than the acrylic templates. The acrylic templates allow you to fussy cut the fabric more accurately each piece, that's all. For some blocks, I remember cutting the fabric around the paper piece, leaving some allowance for glueing edges but not necessarily being very precise on the amount of fabric left. You can still fussy cut without using the acrylic templates, they just make it a bit easier.
The same photos of templates are used for the Christmas Tree skirt item. I think that all the templates for both items have been mistakenly photographed together.
