Thanks @JaySCT .... I already had pulled my credit card out for this sweet deal... And then I decided to read the comments.... Now I'm so worried that I just might not get it and save myself from some potential trouble in the future.

AlbertCAAlbertCA .. You're welcome. Great lens.. That said, if you looking at this type zoom also consider the Sigma 150 - 600 Contemporary or Sport.. I have the Sports version. Both (all three) get excellent reviews. You'd lose a little on the lower end, but gain 200mm and the other end. These lens offers are trying to make it sound like you're going to get the full USA warranty, but ask the question for yourself if you will get the receipt from an authorized dealer or not. You get a lot of answers avoiding that one, but then call Canon and ask their policy. If this is the lens you want, there are also times when rebates are available. Also check Canon's refurbished department online. Same lens, same warranty so you're still protected.
