CommunityThat list from the product description does not clarify my question because I interpret it as:
Lens case = a bag for the lens Lens cap = the front lens cap Lens dust cap = the rear lens cap
There is no mention of a "lens hood" any where except for a picture of it.

I went ahead and canceled my order. Just noticed canon came out with a 24-105 f4 iii so the price for the ii dropped down to $617 on amazon.
better deal then this lens

Community$617 is a great price but I am having a hard time finding it or the 24-105 III. Are you sure you are looking at the same lens?
