Lens is great, I had one already or would have joined this, the Autofocus might fail (its a clutch style friction focus) as it is designed to allow some slip / give when you invariably try to adjust it while in AF.... I had this happen to a 28mm 1.8 as well, 3rd party service to repair/clean was $99, might seem like a lot but for a high performance lens it is not. Image quality is closer to L. As others have stated, get a lens hood.
