Is there any hope that the 18–135mm lens could be an option on this drop? Or a body only option? I want this camera, and the deal seems legit, but I don't need this 18-55mm lens....
Oh always this camera its my fovorite for my and my uncle, i like this camera, need 2 purchasers to sell :-D
90D is about to be rolled out.

Probably not for $930, but I could be wrong.
I agree with some of the comments about what a poor deal this is.
Even better than eBay: just go to the official USA Canon website. I bought for my son a refurbished one with lens (18-55 mm) and 1 year Canon warranty for about $758 (shipping and tax included). BTW, it was tagged refurbished but, if ever used, it was impossible to distinguish from a brand new one.
This is NOT a good deal, I can get it on ebay, with warranty, for $200 or so less, brand new. Thanks but no thanks.

He can’t unless grey market.

First off, I wrote that comment a while ago, look at the date, second, I am willing to bet that, knowing how often canon's stuff goes on sale there will be another one, soon. Not sure whether you realize it or not but Massdrop's prices aren't as great as they try to make us believe they are.
EDIT: Massdrop has resolved this, at least in my opinion. They will give you a receipt from the authorized dealer if and when you require warranty service, and if anything goes wrong they will reimburse you for any repairs. You can see the post below for Duncan from Massdrop's response to my questions. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/nikon-d850-dslr-camera/talk/2017025?utm_source=linkshare&referer=T3XNMA
You will not be getting a Canon 1-year warranty on this, like Massdrop is advertising. Look at this post below to see someone having to pay Canon out of pocket because of the lack of warranty. Massdrop has not responded to them regarding this issue. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/canon-ef-100-400mm-f-4-5-5-6l-is-ii-usm-lens/talk/1977363?utm_source=linkshare&referer=T3XNMA If you'd like, you can read more about the so-called warranty and why it isn't valid in these threads below. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/sigma-150-600mm-5-6-3-contemporary-dg-os-hsm-lens/talk/1930521?utm_source=linkshare&referer=T3XNMA https://www.massdrop.com/buy/nikon-50mm-f-1-8g-af-s-nikkor-fx-lens/talk/1909148?utm_source=linkshare&referer=T3XNMA

If you are to get an authorized Canon repair, you are going to need an Authorized Canon Dealer receipt. That's the ONLY way Canon will provide a warranty repair. I think it is misleading to "offer" a 1 yr Canon Warranty without the dealer receipt. MassDrop isn't offering anything valid without the receipt. I've been waiting 5 days now for my valid dealer receipt... if they were that "available" it should be here by now.
Jaysun,
I have not received a response regarding my question of what Massdrop has done for the poster that had an issue with his Canon warranty, and what Massdrop will do in future drops to prevent such issues. Please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Between this and the Fujifilm X-T20, which one should I get? I'm just a casual user looking to take memorable pictures from my honeymoon trip to Italy this Summer. Price isn't the most important issue -- I want to make sure I get the right camera.
Get new on Adorama for that price, or $100 less on Abes of Main. Sorry Massdrop, ya gotta do better!

Adorama is amazing. Have bought lots of stuff from them before (though nothing related to photography)

If a price is too good to be true, there's a really good chance that it is.
Way cheaper to get a refurb WITH the 18-55 lens direct from Canon --- $840 all in.
IAmSausage
And even better, if you don't need the kit lens ... a refurbed 80d with battery and charger is normally $799 from Canon, but with a special discount code (TREATPLEASE) good October 2017, you can get the body for $680. Now /that's/ a deal.
With the 77d out, can we expect a mark 2 80d soon??

7d mk3 is expected via canon rumors so.....curious. 4k etc would be nice
Anent
It's unlikely. Canon has a slow release cycle, much like Nikon. The 6D mk II for example, didn't come out until 5 years after the first one. If you go by that, you can expect a new 80D to be released in 2021.
This is the USA version with Canon's 1 Year Warranty.

The product is warrantied by Canon because it is being purchased from an authorized dealer.
Jaysun
Awesome, thanks!
Is this an international version?
