The lens has an aperture range of f/3.5–f/6.3, making it ideal for shooting in bright to moderate light conditions. Three aspherical elements help control chromatic aberrations and distortions, while the optimized lens placement reduces flare and ghosting. Finally, the Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 3.5 stops for sharper handheld shooting.
