At the top of Canon’s on-camera E-TTL/E-TTL II–compatible flash lineup is the Speedlite 600EX II-RT: a powerful, responsive flash with a guide number of 197 feet at ISO 100 and 200mm, plus built-in radio transmission wireless functionality. This model’s continuous flash performance is 1.1–1.5x faster than that of its predecessor, or up to 2x when you use a battery pack (not included). Built for fast, convenient use anytime, anywhere, it’s also equipped with new Quick Flash settings and a flash-readiness indicator that helps ensure priority shutter operation, even when the flash isn’t fully charged. Additional features includes improved button and dial controls, a refined dust- and weather-resistant body, and accessories made for enhanced lighting effects.
