As much as I am a Canon fan, this flash is way over-priced. You can get the same thing from a 3rd party. Check out the Yongnuo YN-600EX-RT. It has the same functionality as this, but it only costs about $120-$130. I have 5 of these units, and they've been great for me, and for just a little bit more money (than 1 Canon 600EX-RT) I got all 5 of the Yongnuo units... Even if you buy 2-3, you're saving a ton of money.

I receiver my 600EX-RT from Massdrop on their last offering. Beware, it was shipped in a box that was unprotected and actually more shallow then the Canon box, it was held together with cheap tape and the outside box arrived half torn open because of it being so poorly packaged. the Canon box was dented and banged up, but the flash seem to work. I was able to register the flash on the Canon website.

I'm wondering if this is a USA Warranty item - because it says $8.00 shipping to US? When I went to www.digitalrev.com (which is based in Hong Kong - so totally grey market - but at least they provide their own warranty) - they are charging $389.00 for a Canon 600EX-RT. Somehow, I would expect MassDrop to be significantly less if they are buying volume quantity - else there's not too much point.

BUYER BEWARE. Very disappointed. I agree with TONY99. $400 for a grey market unit? I could have done the same or better on eBay. Not worth the difference in the B&H price without warrantee service. Shipping costs to and from HK will be more than the difference. Shouldn't this be mentioned in the description that it doesn't have US warrantee? I feel I was misled by the lack of product information. After all, isn't warrantee a part of electronic products?

would like to see this at a significant discount the current B&H price for a Canon USA Warranty product (i.e.: not grey market).
B&H currently offers this at $469
I should expect that with volume quantity ordering, you should be able to get 50% off or better - i.e.: $235

The vendor is currently waiting for their allocation of units to arrive. Based on current estimates these should be in their warehouse by the middle of the coming week. As soon as they come in the vendor will ship the orders directly to group members. We will make sure to update the group with individual tracking as soon as this happens.

We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing Monday morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these to ship out. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.

Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at the vendor’s location, they will ship the packages individually to you as soon as possible.
Once we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you guys with updated information on the status of your package.
