Natsu.DragneelI got so siked for a Godspeed set, turns out I can't even order Cockpit, or a full set in parts because of the 2 item limit. Now I'm not even buying. Would have really appreciated a heads up on stock amounts.
Edit: I kept checking and finally got a cockpit and calc set. No novelties left. I still wish we could have seen initial quantities so I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

Natsu.DragneelYou're giving them too much credit - there wasn't even a fraction of the Hana set, it was left out of the drop completely. How hard is it to confirm a list of inventory prior to doing a drop??

Natsu.DragneelCommon since told us this buy was going to be bits and pieces .. the 2 kit limit was a bit of a shocker but.. people where complaining ((I know nothing new)) about how they felt massdrop screwed people cause they didn't blahblahbalh... now people are complaining cause Massdrop isn't selling them full kits... what the heck.. getting sick of all the complaining about MD in the community. But seriously what did people expect going into this sale with limited knowledge I figured it be bits and pieces of kits most likely returned bits and pieces! why cause they don't typically buy extra kits.

HotRoderXWhile I agree that the torch and pitchforks hate that MD often gets for the smallest infraction is overblown, I don’t think that it is unreasonable to expect some transparency in what is being offered (especially when those elements have such a ravenous following). Regardless of what you thought my words were implying, it wasn’t intended to be a “down with MD” rant. I simply felt that there would have been nothing lost with a bit more detail on what was actually being offered.

HotRoderXI feel some of the complaining is justified.... A lot of people knew about the two kit limit and were accepting of it, like I myself was. What a lot of people are complaining about right now is the fact that they had several sets listed on the drop page that weren't actually available at all to begin with - not even sold out, just not available to order from the very beginning. It's disappointing.

Natsu.Dragneelsorry wasn't coming off that way with you just ... ugh at the Keyboard community in general cause of the amount of hate Massdrop gets.. then if you speak out about any thing/one else... your labeled a hater.
What I meant was more along the lines of if they would have released numbers.. then the massdrop hate trolls would have just used them against massdrop. Its kinda sad how far some of these people go to try and introduce drama. I can't think of a reason why they couldn't have other then. They just didn't want to stir the pot with people and issues. Also the kinda being a grab bag did make things a BIT more fair! cause.. people couldn't plan a head and just grab exactly what they wanted using a script are what have ya. I know that how a lot of scalpers work for things like the Nintendo NES that released that sold out in like 5 secs. I am not 100% sure a script would work with MD's website but then again I am sure people are creative enough to figure something out.

HotRoderXFair point. I appreciate the "damned if you do, damned if you don't" element of this with MD. I'm still pretty brand new to the Mech community despite being a dev for many years earlier in my life so I'm still learning the ropes here. Since I have my K-Type scheduled to arrive tomorrow, I had kind of gotten my hopes up to supplement it with a Carbon-Bones set. Oh well. :-)

I am jealous I would have loved to get into the K-Type drop but it was little new to me when joined so I passed. Lovely looking keyboard and hope you post pics when your finished building it. I just built my first keyboard not long ago it was KBD75 Teal/Teal was a lot of Fun.

HotRoderXVery nice. I was debating a Whitefox at first but ultimately rolled with the K-Type when it popped up (I:C benefits either way I guess ;-) ). Once I've gotten used to my K-Type (Halo Clears) for a bit longer and have a better feel for it, I'm planning to build my own board from the ground up for use at work (the K-Type is what I'm planning to roll with at home). I won't be in a rush since it is something I think I'd enjoy doing. Either way, should be fun.

Natsu.DragneelI still want to get a white fox my self. Though still waiting to see what happens with the switches. I like bottoming out I know I am strange. They have them on pre order on the kono website but! I don't know i like to wait and see what ends up happening with everything. Before jumping in! I like to see the orders from the kickstarter get filled first. Also I am kinda hoping they might drop it as a kit. I never understood kits until I built my first board and now they make total since. Picking your preferred switches is NICE.
