I think by misinformation you mean he highlights the horror stories of doing business with MD.
I've had 10 keyboard related orders this year where the product was either delayed add a result of MD's error, delayed without communicating that it was delayed or why, or I've received a defective or wrong item shipped to me. MD deserves every bit of criticism they receive.

Care to tell me where any of the information I've posted has been incorrect? That way I can change it to be more accurate. Additionally, while my focus in my first post was indeed about moving away from MD, if you read my recent post you'll notice I instead changed my argument to "MD needs to fix their mistakes" which I feel is a much better way to go about the topic. How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
