Just got mine with a broad nib and love it! Came with a Caran d'Ache converter (unlike other converters I have used, this one screws into the feed portion, which is nice). I am experimenting with the cartridges that cam with the pen--it requires two cartridges (one is placed with feed side down in the barrel, and then the other cartridge is placed on top with feed side up--then screw on the feed and nib and you're good to go). Writes like a dream on Rhoda paper-and my experiments so far (with just a "medium blue" cartridge provided) my perhaps explain something about the Caran d'Ache inks. I had purchased the Ultra Violet and Turquoise Inks (another drop) and felt they were not saturated enough for my taste. However, using the Leman pen with broad nib, the pen and leaves a wet, saturated medium blue line which dries quickly to a beautiful translucent blue. Wonderful so far....will try the Ultra Violet and Turquoise next. :)
