Jordan-JT-TaylorHi Jordan, either a size Large or Extra Large should work for you. If you want to err on the side of caution, I'd go with the XL, and plan on trimming it a little bit once you receive it. You can do that by cutting the strap with a sharp pair of scissors, and then singe the end with a lighter to prevent fraying. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
curt_copper05Hi Curt, only the single-layer versions of the Cinchy and CTi belts are available on this drop. We recommend one of our double-layer belts for every day carry of a firearm. That said, these are still substantially more rigid than your typical belt. Let me know if you have any more questions :)
Owned this belt for about three months. I wear it every day for work.
Pros.
It works well. Looks great. Unique. Easy to use. In and out of bathroom fast.
Info.
The buckle will bend over time. But not in a bad way. I have the Aluminum and the titanium.
Minor con.
I take my belt of every day. I have to remove the belt buckle before I pull the belt through. The belt is just about the size of the pants loops. It's really tough to pull the belt through with the loop end.
The belt will form memory dent over time.
Other than that. I will be buying a new color belt this go round.
I've had the titanium version of this belt for over a year now. I absolutely refuse to use it over an $8.99 belt I purchased on Amazon afterward. The buckle on the Carbon Tactics belt will stay put as long as you don't touch it or apply pressure to it or breathe on it. Otherwise, 2 seconds after you tighten it, it just slides loose. 100% the most pointless belt I've ever owned. I have no idea what this thing is supposed to accomplish because it isn't a belt. If I could send it back and get a refund, I wouldn't hesitate.
NarganHi Nargan, I'm sorry the belt isn't working out for you. If you'd like to exchange the belt, please send us an email (support@sargentresearch.com). Maybe we can get something that would work better for you. Just let me know :)
Additional feedback after a while. It could be perfect belt.. but mine had a problem.. it causes small holes in the front of my shirts and ruined them.. I suspect it is the end of the strap neer the buckle which have sharp corner. I'll try to round the edge and burn it to see if it helps.
Just got this belt (carbon fiber buckle) in my gift box (10 referral), thanks Massdrop! Really pleased with it :). My review:
Pros:
1. Sits realy well and doesn't loosen during the day.
2. Simple and effective buckle.
3. Light and rigid.
4. The carbon fiber finish is nice.
dis:
1. The buckle is not straight with the strap. Doesn't bother me personally but might bother others.
2. Not as quick as other buckle mechanisms, tough quick enough for me.
Overall - very pleased
BerndiThere is a gloss finish on both sides of the buckle. The chamfers on the edges and perimeter have a more matte finish. That's the result of machining the buckles from a sheet of molded carbon that is already glossy on both sides. I hope that answers your question :)
@CarbonTactics Hey Mike,
I know it's a longshot, but is there any chance of exchanging an untrimmed carbon with nylon webbing for a carbon with biothane?
Thanks
