So you cancelled my order and I'm not sure why. It looks like some people are having their order filled. I guess it's who you know!

A really cool thing about Cobra Buckles (besides their super high strength Swiss engineering and cool guy factor) is that there isn't enough steel/ferrous metal to set off most metal detectors : ) You can get through a TSA checkpoint w/o being hassled with taking off your belt!

Whats the difference between this 40 dollar one and the 10 dollar one off amazon lol
SanguineLotusI know Austri Alpin (makers of the Cobra Buckle) have had a lot of problems with forgeries, which is pretty scary considering the buckles are marketed for life-critical applications, climbing harnesses, fall protection etc... If it's selling for $10, probably a good chance it's not what you think it is ;)

Honest question, what are the pros and cons of this belt versus the Vedder cobra belt? With shipping accounted for the price difference is maybe $8. I think one of their buckles could be narrower, so I'd take that as a plus but don't know anything otherwise.

do you have any smalls for a 30" pant size in single layer . I prefer not to cut the material and burn with a lighter. When I do that, it never melts as cleanly as a factory edge.

ELew Cut with a hot edge
Based on the sizing chart, a Large should fit me, but I'd be right on the edge. If I went a size up would it simply wrap or are there any logistical concerns?
GentlemanSinIt should work fine, but you can also trim the nylon strap shorter with scissors. Then just singe the end with a lighter to prevent fraying. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Does this drop not supply it in small size? I'm a very lanky guy, do I need to get the double layer to get the size I need? :(
If anyone has questions, just let me know!

I'm on the upper limit of a size E (waist 41 pants 36) should I just buy a size F? Is it easy to tuck the excess belt with the provided band? If I do buy size E would I encounter any issues with the belt being too short? Thanks
SanisWaist of 41 or a pants size of 36 actually puts you on the border between D and E. In that case I would recommend a size D, because there is plenty of room to adjust larger on these belts, but you can only adjust so small due to the double-layer portion of the belt being too thick to thread through the buckle. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

At 20 buyers, this drop (7/2/18) is $1 cheaper shipped than when I bought the belt last May, so prices are definitely not creeping up. Nice to see.

Hmmm, judging by the size of this belt I have been given the XL version. This thing goes half way around my back again, and I am not a small guy. The Large should have fitted me perfectly. No point in sending it back, I will have to make do I guess.

TasselhoffIf you got the single layer belt, you can cut the end of the belt off, and melt the cut edge with a lighter. The double layered belt might require more drastic modifications.
