I just wanted to echo what others have said about the biothane slipping easily. It might be better with a double thickness, but I only ordered single thickness. The slots on the buckle would have to be quite a bit narrower for single thickness biothane to work.
Also, the manufacturer suggests not trimming the loose end shorter than 6", but I would suggest not trimming it at all. The friction from two layers of biothane rubbing against each other is mostly what's keeping the belt from loosening, as far as I can tell.
My belt seems to be working ok so far, but I'm not carrying anything on it, and these jeans stay up without a belt. I would advise against choosing single thickness biothane if this drop comes up again. The belt is a very cool minimal design, and I want to like it, I just wish I'd chosen nylon webbing.
