Hey @CarbonTactics Lately this has been my go-to, favorite belt/buckle combination but I have some questions about issues.
Is there a way to reduce the slippage? I have ~8" of biothane on one strap and an entirely uncut double nylon and both slip (although the biothane significanlty more, especially last week in Florida with some humidity). I was thinking about perhaps using the cut tail to weave through the buckle behind the active one.
Self imposed issue, lost some weight and my double nylon is about as tight as it can go. Any tips to shorten the double nylon side? Kosher to remove some stitches and shorten the double part or to weave the double part through the buckle (if that is even possible)?
Can we get a belt-only option for this drop? Due to the distinctive design, there are not so many chances to get new straps for these. It would be awesome to be able to re-order straps only without having extra unneeded buckles.
Thanks, David

da5idHi David,
Technically it‘s possible to rip out the stitches and resew the strap into a smaller size, but it’s not a fun or easy job, and there would be cosmetic damage... If you‘re having issues with slipping, you can put the elastic keeper immediately behind the buckle, on the tail side of the strap. This has the effect of increasing friction substabtially. If you need an elastic keeper, or if we can help further please feel free to shoot us an email (avonlea@sargentresearch.com). Thanks!
