Using an ISO keyboard in this game is a little like having paralympics participants in the olympics. They might surprise you, but you know they have to work a lot harder than the rest...

TofagerlThoroughly agree with you, I would like to switch over to ANSI for this reason, but my main concern is lack of constancy. Keyboards at work are all ISO, my laptop is ISO and any other computer that I will encounter in the UK will almost certainly be ISO. And also big return & shift, and easier access to # are big pluses for me (also hate \ & | being between backspace and enter, I much prefer the symmetry of \/ on ISO).

acolesI'd try to get a cheap ansi keyboard and try it out. In the meantime, the only key that's irreplacable in the ISO set is the enter key, and there are two in every kit, so if you need to get the ISO keys later on you might luck out on geekhead, deskthority or reddit.

acolesI actually have no issues switching between US ANSI (at home) and DE ISO (at work). In comparison to UK ISO, DE ISO has far more differences to US ANSI.
