As someone in the industry, the concept of seafood pliers are horrible - They are glorified nutcrackers. Worse, this particular design cracks the shell into the meat, which damages the flesh and also makes cleaning more of a hassle. If an individual was serious about releasing crustacean meat, the main tool they would use are seafood shears with thin bird-beak-shaped blades, and a mallet only when the meat in the claw is stubborn.

I just received mine today. Nicely engineeered and manufactured.
However, I can't figure out how to completey disassemble mine for cleaning. I'm able to remove first piece, as shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wikjYpnIzs -- however, I cannot get the last two pieces to disconnect. I feel like I'm missing something easy. Anyone else?

enkiduThank you, Enkidu of Mesopotamia. However, although the angle of this video is slightly different, the removal of the last two pieces happens quickly and seemingly without any difficulty -- I just couldn't get that to happen.
I wrote Drosselmeyer, and received the following cryptic advice: "Put your thumb on the corner of the jaw and push 45 degrees upwards while pulling the jaw downwards." Because "up" and "down" are relative terms, this didn't help me, but perhaps it will help someone else here.
This is what finally worked for me: Pinch the narrow piece right above where it enters the hole, and pull up on it while tugging back on the handle. Very inelegant and somewhat difficult, but that's the only thing that's worked for me so far.

Now this is a deal. These go for over $50 and even more on ebay. These look very promising and most certainly will do better than those "walnut crackers". Thanks MD for running this essential for my kitchen!
