I am a bit confused by the sizing advice. Some seem to be saying this is a narrow last, some seem to be saying it is long and wide, and is on the roomy side. I wear mostly UK 8E and 8.5E in Crockett & Jones and US 9D and 9.5D in Polo and Brooks Bros. Italian/English-made shoes. Should I get UK 8E or half a size larger? I’m usually in betweenk, tending more to the smaller of the two.

JJN11Looks like I am late to respond to this but just to give you reference; I am 11.5D in US size. Pretty much right on the hash line. I ordered mine two drops ago a half size down (10UK/11US). Could not be happier with the fit. They have a narrow toe box and fit like a glove. They are narrow enough to get uncomfortable wearing too many days in a row. Get compliments every time I wear them. Work in downtown loop area of Chicago so there is no shortage of men wearing nice dress shoes and still they stand out.

bigbhattI went with UK8/US9 and it was a mistake. The last is very narrow. Should have gone with UK8.5/US9.5. On the other hand, the leather is very thin and flexible, so even though it’s tight, it’s not uncomfortable.
