Born in 1942 in São João de Madeira, Portugal, Carlos Santos has grown to become one of the most respected European shoemakers out there. It’s named for its founder, who took his first steps in business at the young age of 14. And if you’re a fan of men’s luxury footwear, it’s one of those brands that needs no introduction. Displaying the craftsmanship the company is known for, these single-buckle shoes are as classic as they come. The hand-patinated leather comes in three colors and calls for a gentle wax-based cream or polish only, as solvent-based products may strip the finish. The shoes are built on the elegant, true-to-size 187 last and Goodyear welted for easy resoling.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of color (black, Guimaraes, or taupe) and size (half sizes from US 7 to 12.5, plus 13 and 14). As these shoes are patinated by hand one pair at a time, there may be variations in color and shade.
