scottluThe version on massdrop (gw-m5610 -1bjf) is functionally the same as the gw-m5610-1. They have the same internals and features. The only difference is in the display. The -1bjf has a negative display, meaning it has a black screen with lighter digits (compared to a regular lighter screen with dark digits). It is harder to read than a "normal" display, but many consider it to look "cooler." It's all about personal preference.

scottluNot better, not worse, just different. The watch here on Massdrop has got the negative display, which some people prefer. Backlit at night, the negative display looks amazing and is very easy to read, but it can be a bit rough in very bright sun. I've got several negative display G-Shocks and I like them a lot, but in the end it's a matter of personal preference.
