I like how some "selectively" pick one part of what I said as focus. your saying suunto only makes "sports" watches lol . if you think this is a better watch than a suunto aimbit3 witch does everything this watch does and LOTS more or the garmin fenix3 , your misinformed at best. I lived in Japan for 6 years and Casio markets watches to the Asian market, that only they have, I actually bought my last Casio there a protrek for about 250$ , mind you there were others that cost more but actually did NOTHING MORE feature wise. You want a casio watch than by all means buy one, just not this one. as stated prior there are models that casio sell that have every feature this does for FAR less money. for any that do not know the newest casio watches are all a bit smaller as they now have a smaller sku on the sensor bits. mentioning you can DIVE with it, well that is funny too. I bet a dollar to a doughnut any "diver" is not going to be using THIS watch for diving. funny stuff there.

Stone_MaNGood lord where do I start... 1) I didn't selectively pick anything. You said a AMBIT (at least spell it right) or Fenix is a better value for the same amount of money. You'd be wrong if you want a tough outdoors watch, and you'd be right if you want a gps sport watch. 2) Sunnto watches are notorious for not withstanding harsh enviroments. The Ambit is a watch you saw half a platoon wear right before deployment only to return wearing cheap GShocks. Garmin's offering is a lot better than Suunto's. Nevertheless, they're both not appropriate or dependable enough for harsh environments. Hell my wife went through three previous gen Ambits before giving up on Suunto and she only does park running. That's not what I'd call reliable. 3) It's hilarious to me that you laugh at the mention of the Ambit and Fenix being sports watches since both Suunto and Garmin market this watches as - "sport watches". Maybe I'm misinformed though. 4) Finally no 10ATM watch (Ambit, Fenix, and most ProTreks I've seen) is suitable for actual diving.
In any case I doubt I'll be buying this watch as I dive a lot more than I trek, but after extensively handling one on a trip I can confidently say it's worth the money for the adventurer types that want a reliable tool watch. Hell it's cheap in comparison to what most diving watches and dive computers cost.

sprk1The Good Lord ain't got shit to do with it. I will just say this and I am done regardless what you or anyone else says. some folks are NOT well informed and make snap purchase decisions. everything I said was to TRY to help that not happening on a drop that is NOT worth the money they are asking. your saying you are not going to buy it after gushing over it says it all, its that good. it seems to you took offense, frankly I could care less, but that was not the intention to offend anyone. the FACT is there are better watches for the money, and exactly equal features offered by casio themselves for less money, but hey buy what you wish.
and don't even get me going about WFT massdrop is doing selling a Japan ONLY watch with no warranty (from manufacture) in North America market is beyond me , like they could not have picked any of the several exact feature models of Casio marketed here with a manufacture warranty? this is very well likely a discontinued model
done with you and this discussion enjoy your mud watch for all that diving you do, don't buy a proper diving watch, you'll be using that altimeter, compass and temp under all that water for clams and just think when you stick your hand into that muck it should come out unharmed lol. AMBIT, AIMBIT, is this ENGRISH CRASS? idiots online often resort to grammher and typo errors to try and get a rise out of poeple , so funny kid.
