would this be a good combo to convert a T-Maxx from Nitro to electric?

heath4207This would be a great combo! I would suggest the 2200Kv combo for a T to E-maxx conversion!
Cheers,
heath4207Having worked with many RC's like the Traxxas summit, slash, and rustler I would suggest getting the 2650kv combo as it gives you the extra boost of speed which might yield higher temps, but a more exciting experience for the T-Maxx. If encountering any temperature issues simply add a motor heat sink fan and it will do the trick. Either option will perform fantastically for your T-maxx.

Hi Bugmunch,
The higher the KV the faster the motor so you're accurate there, I would not recommend this system for a Axial Buggy/Bomber, it's a large 1/8th scale power system and definitely has too much power for the 1/10 Axial drivetrain. I would go for the 1/10th scale system when it's released and somewhere in the neighborhood of a 1800-3000kv sensored motor. That setup has more than enough for a Bomber/Buggy U4 racer or the low end smoothness for crawling! I currently run a Holmes BLE Pro and Tekin Pro-4 3000Kv on 4S and want for nothing :). This would be a ball in a Slash 4x4 but it will never keep tread in the tires!

I forget but is the kv higher mean faster or opposite? Thinking about putting in axial buggy or a slash 4x4
BugmunchHigher kv means faster but less torque so for smaller trucks like a slash a higher kv is recommended and for larger trucks like a t-maxx or summit a lower kv would work great.
