+/-6g accuracy? That seems way too low for a general purpose cooking scale. Tldr: you may end up wanting to weigh salt and other spices which for typical cuts of meat will be in the 1-2g region.
Salting of the things one cooks is extremely important to produce something which is actually tasty. Weighing a steak is easy enough. But if you learn over time that you like some particular amount of salt per lb of meat then you will be unable to weigh that amount on this scale period. For example I tend to like 4g of salt per lb of meat on the higher end. that is well under the minimum accuracy on this scale.
One good purveyor of way too many scales is American weigh systems. They could probably be convinced to source a proper cooking scale for even less than this. I bought a .1g accurate and .01g accurate scale from them for less than $20 each.
