HI CE...nice that you monitor the forum for our questions. I'm sure I like others here am elated with the bevy of quality MD products in this category of late. However this particular item is certainly cream of the crop. Bear with me here as I have a usage question for CE (or others here):
I have an all analog McCormack main system with MAP1 preamp and HT5 amp (neither of which I will likely ever give up, especially the amazingly versatile MAP1). Anyway, in addition I have a Cambridge 752BD which upconverts all inputs to 24/192 via its Wolfson DACs and is a DLNA renderer to boot so it works great with JRiver over the cat5 network (I would likely not use USB). I am in the process of obtaining both Final Audio Pandora Vi and HIfiMan 400i headphones to pit against each other with the many hi-rez files and DVDA/SACDs I have (both cans have extremely low impedence!). How best would I send this high resolution 24/192 signal to be played through the headphones? Since the BD player already does the conversion, would a DAC be needed if I hooked it in coax or optical output from the Cambridge---or just a regular headphone amp? That is the confusing part in my case :)

scottm_djIf your gear has a SPDIF output (optical or coax), connect it to either of DACmini's SPDIF inputs -- DACmini will clean up the jitter on the signal like a champ and give you sound quality to sing about!
