I currently own shure se215 and the soundmagic HP200 openback headphone. Also, I'm planning to use the DACmini PX for awhile with future upgrade in both IEM and higher end headphone. Would it be better for me to get the 1ohm or the 10ohms version? What are the pros and cons for each output impedence? I'm pretty new to the hi-fi world. Thank you for your answer (in advance :)

pf_stepsWe are trying to make this most painless for the community (and our techs as well). How about everyone gets the 1 Ohm mod for free? The other mods do require significant work. We cannot discount our techs' labor, unfortunately.

CEntranceThanks CEntrance! I'll be happy to opt for the 1ohm version with my amp.
I do plan on using it with high(ish) impedence cans but I would also like to have the option to use it with IEMs if I like, therefore I think 1ohm would be best.
Are there *any* advantages to having such a high output impedence?

CEntranceThat would be great. I would love the 1 ohm mod on my order.

takumi.fujiwaraIf we reach 20 units, we will upgrade all at no cost to 1 Ohm.
