Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. But the most fun is having windows 7 and 10 ocassionally drop them and turning the unit into "USB device not recognized". Despite using the latest drivers and following instructions, reinstallation does not always work, leaving me with a non functioning unit.

One has to be plugged in every single time I want to use it (a fix is on the way for this I am told by Centrance), or the sound does not work on the PC. The other drops from time to time and generally does not have to be re-plugged in to work.
When I disable 'signed driver enforcement' windows 10 recognises the centrance straight away as a USB audio device
