CEntranceI really want to get this because of reviewed clarity and power output, but I only want it mainly for my PC for the Shure SE846 IE's and a pair of Sennheiser HD 800 Over-Ears. Therein lies my problem though. My PC has a Creative Sound Blaster ZxR sound card, which doesn't have USB out, only 1 x Amplified (80 mW) 1/4" Stereo Jack, 2x RCA Out (L / R), 2x 3.5mm Out and a 1/4" Stereo Jack, There are micro USB to 1/4" adaptors and MHL Micro USB to RCA adapters. What I would like to know are any of those a viable option for this AND can I use the 80 mW amp out from the sound card as a preamp for this?

CodeMonkeyDACport Slim is designed to operate from USB. You would need to find an empty USB port on your PC and plug DACport into that port.
