Hello to all DACport Slim contributors. FedEx reports that the entire order has been delivered to Massdrop on Monday. They should start sending them out shortly. We cannot wait for your reports and reviews. Let us know if you have any questions.
Just a note that we are aware of Windows 10 compatibility issues and are working very hard to solve them. We will be done shortly. Meantime, the product works very well with Mac and all versions of Windows prior to 10. On Windows 10, ASIO works just fine, so you can already use many audio applications via the ASIO interface. We are working on re-enabling the other interfaces (WinMM, etc.), after Microsoft's "fixes", which broke a whole bunch of audio functionality in Windows 10. A quick scan online shows that most audio products are affected and that most audio companies are struggling to deliver updated drivers. Why Microsoft decided to "fix what was not broken" -- I don't know.

CEntranceProbably because there is no USB Audio 3.0 spec, only USB Audio 2.0 which is used in the USB3.0 spec itself but is still around from older days before that existed. Anyway, Microsoft and Intel got together and decided to drop legacy support for a lot of USB and discontinued the EHCI hardware and drivers and only use XHCI now. EHCI was what USB2.0 and earlier ran on, though I believe XHCI also is compatible with most USB2.0 functions. Anyway, because so much of the USB spec and support was discontinued it probably meant Microsoft changed the way many things including audio function.
