Would recommend skipping this drop if you plan on using Windows 10 as the driver issues have yet to be addressed, have hardly been able to use mine.

FropeWe are about to release another major driver upgrade. Having said that, most recent issues have been traced to a Realtek network card. Update those drivers and it gets stable.

CEntranceRealtek network card? That would make sense. My main PC has a killer network card and it never freezes, my second one has realtek and it's jackpot within 30 minutes.
Good to know.

BoomboommadafakaYep, it's sufficiently cleaned up by now. It's a new product, but we've done a lot of work in the last couple of months. All units from this drop will be coming with latest firmware. The latest driver is quite stable. If you have any issues, let us know of course. We are here to make sure everyone is happy. We are fully comitted to a 100% experience for you.

CEntranceMine is crashing all the time on Windows 10 with Realtek HD Audio card. I have the latest driver but nothing has changed. Other similar devices work just fine.

nironPlease kindly email us for support. From what I understand there are no open support cases at the moment. We have helped everyone get fully setup.

Most of these setup issues are solved at this point (we've had to help a lot of folks with setup in the beginning). If YOU, YOURSELF have an issue, please, please, please email us, so we can help. If your name is Paul, then thanks for your call earlier this morning. As we discussed, we are actively working to solve your situation.

CEntranceYour current driver still freezes my windows 10 machines (one high performance desktop, one surface 3) about every hour even using the ASIO workaround. If there a meaningful diagnosis process I can engage with your support so you know what is going wrong and can help to fix the problem? I don't think telling you that the driver freezes the computer is enough debug log to help you guys... I have engaged with support in the past, received a beta driver, gave feedback similar to this post (e.g. stability was better than the first driver, but still freezing my computer), but I received no further contact from support after this, and the beta/pre-release driver rolled into release with no change in version. EDIT: Also, no Realtek.

ossifragePlease ping David in support, he will give you status on the new driver. We may be taking some beta testers shortly, so please indicate interest. I know a couple people here who would be great for this.

CEntranceCan the output be used as "line out" to hook it up to *powered* desktop speakers? Where would you set the volume on CEntrance when used as line-out?

CEntranceI'd be interested in beta testing the new software, windows 10 i7 machine, using the Centrance MIni as my second device with AKG7XX's attached using Driver: version 7.4.19 (Nov 12 2015) Firmware: 0026 working fine except I have to disconnect and re-connect the USB lead on each PC boot.

MassYes it can. I use it all the time with powered speakers. Low gain setting, max volume = line out
