I find these speakers to be so much different from the A5+ speakers I have. I find myself enjoying my music more again! Since I started listening to these, I also started listening with my IEMs more. They remind me a lot more of my IEMs a lot more than my Stax 3120 setup or any other set of headphones, which I know is a different animal, but still.
I wish they were bigger, though. The sound is compressed given their size and perhaps the size of the drivers. If these were the size of standing floorspeakers, they would probably truly be master speakers in their class. However, for a laptop/computer setup, this is juuuuuust fine!
Remember to crank the volume up to a comfortable level and make them speakers sing, but also remember your positioning relative to the speakers. Azendel's recommendation is a great one - ear level, with equidistance, forming a triangle between you and the speakers.
