Is it necessary to have surrounds if you use these as LCR? I keep seeing "main front soundstage" mentioned here and elsewhere, but I'm new to the speaker world so I'm sort of lost. I will only be able to do a 3.0 or 3.1 set-up in my apartment, and it seems like these would be great, but I don't want to take the leap and find out they need to be complemented by surrounds.
Also, how simple is it to reoriented the tweeter to use as LCR? I have read that it can be difficult to pry it out once unscrewed since it is so flush.
Thanks.

walsh8462Chane also offers the smaller model A1rx-c, which makes a good surround speaker option.
The tweeters are milled precisely into the cabinets and may need a nudge from behind. A tap with a tool inserted through the bass reflex port on the back works perfectly.

walsh84623.0 or 3.1 is fine. Surround speakers are not necessary. In fact, the two speakers I bought through this sale are for my mom's tv & stereo. So she will have a 2.0 system.
