WHY DID I SELL MY MOJO?
IPhone 6 plus + Mojo= Non compatibility and Known RF issues. It would continually disconnect when using Onkyo's HF player, ITunes, Spotify etc. Had to return my Mojo to my AUTHORIZED DEALER to get my money back.
BTW I also owned the Oppo HA-2SE, same result. Called Oppo, the tech said, YUP, we know, send it back for refund. Was told to buy high end cable with some length and not piggyback both devices, (huh-thought that was the "portable" idea?) turn wifi off, put in airplane mode to fix RF issue. Guess what??? .....that didn't work either!
To bad, great and I mean GR8 fucking DAC! The Mojo not the Oppo. The Mojo blows the Oppo away. If you don't own an IPhone you should be in good shape.
Nice to see MD working with a known, top notch and we'll respected manufacturer of a great piece of kit, priced nice too. Just remember, no returns. Hope you have zero issues with yours....

KeeferI returned my Oppo HA-2SE for the exact same reason. I’ve read that most of the disconnection glitches were fixed with the new 10.3.3 update. Might repurchase it or get the Mojo when they confirm it works.

KeeferIf you did your research better before your purchase you would have known that RF is an issue with any portable DAC & amps only if you stack them together. Too bad that you have sold your Mojo which is a fantastic converter and amplifier in its price range. And well, I'm sad to tell you that the disconnection issue is resolved with the latest iOS update. Good luck on your better audio journey mate..

Alexdre119There is no more disconnection issues on 10.3.3 anymore. I can confirm it with my 10.3.3 16GB iPhone 5S and Mojo.

KeeferVery nice. The oppo is for portable use. I don't understand the one-up manship. I just stated that mine worked fine. I can show you pictures of my studio. Lets all share! Maybe you just got a defective one. Sorry for your troubles.

Turkayi have used my Centrance Dacportable and ifi audio BL with little to no rf issues. I really liked the sound on the Mojo but the rf noise was way past tolerable. Hopefully like you say the issue is fixed with the latest update.

TurkayNice. Definitely a good thing going forward for those looking for a portable dac. The idea of putting my phone on airplane mode just seems like a dal breaker when so many ppl stream, watch youtube videos etc. SOme of us want to squeeze the most out of those compressed sources too. lol

KeeferThe reason the mojo isn't certified is because it is by a small boutique company that doesn't want to pay the 300,000 or whatever Apple charges for certification. It's basically a racket. So you have to use an adapter. I agree it sucks, but Chord is just a small company, it's not Sony where they can eat that kind of costs. Same thing with audioquest. Is it a negative point ? I think so, but using an adapter is not a big deal since you need lightning to usb anyway

tradyblixAnother reason is Apple requires the whole layout of the product to be submitted. Secret sauce of the FPGA chip and everything. As you can see, most companies with IP to protect balk at the idea.

tradyblixYeah. I can't remember if it was Chord or another company, on Headfi, that pointed that out.

KeeferI meant no offense with the oppo se. It just surprised me that you had problems. The big dog comment, if I remember correctly was concerning another item. Ps. I own a small studio with which I can supply pictures and serial numbers. Cheers! Oh yeah, nice stuff.

KeeferI was in the same boat, but then i tried a variety of IOS to Micro USB adapter, and one particular cable fixed all the problems by including an actual apple chip on the lightning adapter side.
No more connectivity/interference issues since then for me.
