Hey everyone - I wanted to officially share the update here that everyone in this drop have been emailed:
It has been brought to our attention that the vendor in this drop has altered the product box for this drop before shipping. Altering product boxes is against our vendor guidelines and we do not consider this acceptable. We're sorry that we were not aware of this before setting up this drop and for any confusion or issues this has caused.
If you would like to request an order cancellation or return for a refund, please go to the transactions page and create a support ticket.
In addition, we have issued $40 to everyone's Massdrop account. This will be automatically applied to your next purchase, at which point you’ll be able to see it on the checkout page. It’s good for one-time use, which means you won’t see a remaining balance, and expires one year from today.

ixobut not so fast....you don't know if massdrop knew what was going down...to be sure, they should have done their homework but in the end they came thru..so i give them kudos for such.

ElsidYou don't know that to be true at all. Stop saying you did.
You don't know that Massdrop has a warehouse where this product was stored before they shipped it. I doubt very much that MD has any warehouse or any product at all. My guess is they drop ship everything they sell. I'm making an educated guess as "drop" is in the name and drop shipping has become quite popular over the last couple of decades. eBay is full of merchants like this.

ElsidMassdrop has become a large company and is no longer just a few guys in a small building. They have a group of people now and a couple locations, they also move hundreds of products now. You really expect Massdrop to be intimitely familiar with all the products of all the brands people buy? This site mostly just facilitates group buys that are requested by the users. Massdrop just gets the products in on a big pallet and ships out each box to the individual person. How are they supposed to know whether something should be arriving in a white box or not? And you think they open up each and every box and look at serial numbers and check for functionality? They are basically a shipping agent for the majority of their, not a manufacturer of them all. Now, they are intimately familiar with the details of their own products, which are out of a completely different location that they bulk receiving/drop shipping stuff.

EniGmA1987Haha! If I got a pallet of mojo, I'd check em out. Then I would have a lot more mojo! When you sell a product, it should always be checked, or shit can hapoen. Hire mo mojo checkers. Hopefully, this was just a mistake and a learning lesson. Cheers!

ElsidThe MD office and the warehouse are on opposite coasts. I highly doubt that the MD main office had any idea that the packages were altered, and the warehouse likely was unaware that it would be a problem.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?

I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. I care most about using spatial apps like DOlby Atmos and DTS Headphone:X. Suggestions are welcome.

Looking for a gaming/content audio setup

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?

Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
