static.overdubI like the pun but don't share the sentiment. A movado quartz chrono is much more expensive and doesn't feature an eco-drive solar movement. The case & bracelet finishing is nicer on the movado but the cheap swiss quartz movement isn't.

static.overdubAppalling spelling, simply appalling!

Kinda looks like Movado and MVMT had a kid that neither of them wanted to keep so Citizen adopted it, did it’s best to raise with it an eco drive movement and isn’t mad, just disappointed in the results.

WatchyoutalkingaboutBut the kid also has an overactive pituitary gland and has had too much growth hormone while growing up. Lanky, all arms and legs (meaning, those extra 2 mm of radius that are between any meaningful watch-center complications and the minute indices is something that could have been easily done away with, bringing the watch to 39 mm...).

Bought it...black on black...like it a lot. Not too big, Eco-Drive runs great, no batteries to swap, great wrist band...for the price it is a great buy.

I love this watch and I get compliments every time I wear it. The Eco-Drive feature is sweet and the chrono is cool. The mineral crystal is fine to me and still looks great after a couple years. I just wish the profile was a little slimmer for my tastes but I like that it's minimal yet still has presence.

Mineral crystal - no buy. I wouldnt mind shelling out a bit more for sapphire but mineral is just no-go.

Much sarcasm for wanting watchfaces that doesnt scratch.

KKYHDirected more towards folks who aren't nice to their timepieces! Got a bunch of damn watches, but only one or two of 'em came with a genuine sapphire crystal--but none of them have any scratches. 'Course I'm a Seiko-guy for the most part, so the majority of mine are protected by Seiko's famous Hardlex crystal. Not sure what that actually is, but from my experience, they hardlex ever scratch ;- )

Honestly, as a a guy that owns 2 Citizen watches ( satellite wave and navihawk) this is one ugly Citizen watch. It reminds me why I hate modern movados.

Each to their own. I really dislike those Citizens, especially the Navihawk.

BondichookThe navihawk is okay but the satellite wave is nice but it depends on which one. I have the citizen CC302057L That has a minimalist look you like. I got it because the tech on it was amazing, fastest and slimmest satellite watch in the world. Plus it looked good too. I’m into mechanical watches but that watch caught my eye and has not disappointed.
