350 and mineral crystal glass? Meanwhile I can get a chinese rolex knockoff with actually scratch resistant sapphire glass for 50 bucks? It's sad but I think Citizen has lost the plot. Also, every pilot I see is using a ipad these days for maps and checklists. Is anyone ever using the speed/fuel slide rule? Could they kindly make a version without that or with scales I might actually use?

Do you need a license to operate this watch or will they sell it to anyone?

This is such a crazy watch -- 48 mm and a completely illegibly busy watch face -- that I could almost go for it despite my minimalist automatic bent. Since the time is set automatically by "nuclear radio," you really never have to touch it if you only use it for the time. It would be a nice watch to wear on alternate days with a one-handed einzeiger automatic. The bracelet looks O.K., which is good given the 23 mm strap width.

CloacaYeah, I'm making fun of it but I think I could adjust to it if Sandy Clause left it under my tree! Closest I'll ever come to an Atomic Clock ;- ) This is the one that might have got me off the porch:

Is Massdrop an authorized Citizen dealer/retailer? I don’t see any mention that the watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and a 5 year manufacturers warranty. I believe you only get those things if you buy from an authorized dealer.

There may be some variation between manufacturers, and I’ve never bought a Citizen so I’m no expert, but that’s typically the case. I bought a different watch through here (I think it was an SRP777) that came with a blank warranty card in the box, so the warranty wasn’t valid. It’s easier for them to just not fill it out than it is to remove it, especially if they’re shipping a couple hundred. Regarding the watch, have you checked out the version of this with the rubber strap and orange highlights? In my opinion, it looks way sharper than this, and is selling on Amazon for not much more than this, meaning you wouldn’t have to wait 2 months to get it.
