Featuring the same French-ruled (or séyès) paper used in classrooms throughout France, this Clairefontaine A4 notebook is a handy tool for practicing cursive and calligraphy. Each page of 90 gsm paper has a smooth satin finish and 8-millimeter grid lines that add a nice visual form for writing essays, note-taking, bookkeeping, creating matrices, and more. Clothbound notebooks contain 96 sheets and wirebound notebooks contain 50 sheets inside laminated covers.
Note: This drop includes two A4 wirebound notebooks and two A4 clothbound notebooks, with assorted cover colors.
Between the Lines
French rule is used as widely in France as college-ruled paper is in the US, and features thinner lines spaced 2 millimeters apart within the main grid. Along with a left margin, you’ll find some space without horizontal lines at the top and bottom of each page.
