I wish I would have paid more attention to what this drop included... While the stationery can be folded into quarters and fit in the envelopes, I much would have preferred the large Clairefontaine envelopes (8.66x4.49") that are sized to match up with the A4 size paper. The small envelopes (6.38x4.33") that were included with this drop are intended to be used with A5 size paper, folded in half. My fault entirely for not reading the description, but it would have made much more sense for Massdrop to offer envelopes which correspond with the paper. Oh, well. Suppose I'll buy a bunch of A5 paper and large envelopes to mix and match.

casey.scottWait a second, I just looked at the description again, and nowhere in the description does it mention the envelope size (granted, the photos do show the small envelope). Massdrop, you folks really need to update the description before you open up this drop again.

casey.scottThe envelopes look like the correct size for a personal stationery set. When I was younger, it was more common for people to mail one another letters and all the stationery came with envelopes of this size. You fold the paper lengthwise into thirds, then fold the folded stack once more from the left so it fits into the envelope.

EagleLobesYeah, like I said, you CAN make it work. I just prefer to use larger envelopes with this size paper folded into thirds, not thirds and then in half, and the smaller envelopes with A4 size paper folded in half. I'm very particular about most things, I admit.
