Hey everyone, our vendor just reached out and let us know there was a miscommunication with availability and the inventory set aside for us no longer exists.

As a result, I've taken down the drop. Those of you that joined will not be charged for anything.

Any expectation for it to return?
Can anyone tell me what stablizers are on this board?

I owned a CM Storm QuickFire and some of the LEDs stopped working about 4 months in, didn't bother me much. Then the spacebar springs stopped pushing the bar up all the way and I had to trash the keyboard, not worth the price for how many issues it has with the build quality.
As someone who owns cm storm keyboard, the usb cable gets stiff and breaks in a matter or a year or two, so don't place much hope on a "braided cable"

I own 2 Quickfire Rapids and neither of their cables have had this issue in the last couple years. Is it particularly dry where you live?
Rustedham
On the contrary, it's particularly humid.
I'm not sure if related to the issue, but the keyboard is one of the first tkl quickfire Rapids available, early model? so probably the quality in the materials improved over time. The plate on mine also got rusty overtime but I believe that's due to humidity.
The cable is removable so if it diea after 2 years is not a big deal.
Greens in a minimal, sturdy case for ~115€ incl. Taxes and shipping to Germany? I'm in! Weird to see that Double sided USB type A cable though...

I've contacted support about this but I wanted to reiterate this directly to you.

I ordered this to be delivered to the UK, but did not realise that it would take two and a half weeks for the order to be dispatched. I also assumed that the $33 shipping must include import duties, as the similar shipping figures on amazon and ebay include import duties.

I couldn't find any of this information by browsing the site itself, but only through a reply from customer support where they provided links. I'm out of the country from 30th March to the 3rd May, and won't be able respond to the request to pay import duty. The order will then be returned to you for refund after three weeks of being held at customs.

I want to cancel my order and be given a full refund. I am not happy to wait for customs to return the product and to be denied to be refunded $33 in postage costs. I'm now aware from links provided by email that orders cannot be cancelled once the drop is complete, but it seems unlikely that the original vendor has yet dispatched their order to your warehouse, and you will have to amend your order with them. If that means the drop price is not allowed by them, then I imagine the other four buyers orders will also have to be dropped.

I'm sure it's in both our interests to resolve the issue before the order is shipped for your warehouse. I consider the lack of information on your site to be grossly misleading and I will go to considerable effort to contest the payment with paypal and visa if you don't want to resolve this amicably.
if anyone on the edge of this one, love for you to help make the drop happen.
Clears have a peak of 95cn. Actuation is lower on greens. So clears feel like a car that's braking hard, greens feel like a heavy truck operating normally.
Mufti
Where are you getting that actuation is lower? This shows is being higher for greens.

It might be higher if you bottom out clears but the bump is pretty sharp so I rarely bottom out the switches.
HappySkitty
Clears - https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Clear
Tactile force 65 cN
Actuation force 55 cN
Peak force ca. 95 cN

Greens - https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Green
Actuation force 80 cN

They're just completely different switch mechanisms. Clears peak higher than green, so if you bottom out keys (which a heavy typist tends to do); They will feel more stiff. You'll feel a heavy friction or braking at the end of every press, which tends to be more noticeable then the linear actuation of the green. Though it requires more force to begin movement; there's no ramp to a peak, nor does the actuation raise to the force of the clears. Clears would only feel lighter than greens if you're softly typing, and never hit peak.
Lol, I miss read you first post , wasn't trying to be a dick
Amazon has this for $109.99 + prime shipping after $10 rebate ಠ_ಠ
