The CM Storm switch tester was a great, cheap option to test out key-switch types. I was new to the world of mechanical keyboards when I bought it and it's helped me learn a lot about the different switch types. Also a great way to introduce friends and family to the concept of mech keyboards!

I bought this over a year and a half ago and it really helped me choose a mechanical keyboard without spending lots of cash. The red was too fast and the black felt to strange. The blue was nice and clicky but way too loud and the green was just too much effort. The battle was between brown and clear and the brown just felt the most balanced and natural so I picked up a Cherry MX brown-switch-based keyboard.

Heyo!
Another drop received by Massdrop in only 4 business days, once again the size probably factored into this. I am loving the shipping times from Massdrop for small items that can easily pass through customs into Canada, so thank you very much Massdrop for being awesome!
As for the product, it's a great way to test out which switch is your pick. Personally I have heavy hands so I barely notice differences between red/black or blue/green etc, but then again I havent typed on full keyboards for hours on each switch. Also a great sharing item for friends that are looking into mech keyboards :D

Yay! Just got mine today. This may sound like an odd question, but is it possible to take it apart? I was toying with the idea of adding some leds.
