Does it support Mac?
With $30-$80 mechanical keyboards left and right, this absolutely NOT worth $100. A Quickfire doesn't even have NKRO over USB, and you want people to spend more than $60 on it?

MX Green switches are pretty tough to find so it seems worth it to me for anyone who likes them. Most boards I've seen that come with MX Green switches have been well over $100.

can you provide a link to a mx-green keyboard that's less in price with equal or better rep to a quickfire?
have one of these. greens are very nice, and addictive to type on
i have been looking for a ten-key-less mechanical keyboard with wrist rest. Do any one of you know any one that is good?(prefer around 100-200$)
YellowDude
The Corsair K65 RGB comes with a wrist rest.
I have this keyboard with MX Browns and I love it, definitely worth the buy if you want simple and Greens.
Does anyone know where to get a custom metal plate for these? Desoldering the switches for every change would quickly ruin the board i'd imagine
I'm so tempted to get this and put a Frosty Flake in it... but I have my Phantom still waiting to be built.
Still, it's tempting.
Have this keyboard and love it. If I need a new one I would be all over this.
I have one of these I got off Amazon. After using Greens I can safely say everything else feels too light!
is it possible to use Key-caps from an ISO Keyboard (german in my case) on this board?

Danke für den Tipp, genau das habe ich gesucht :D

Super, viel Spass :)
Very tempted to buy another one of these just incase I ever need parts... Getting the green switches alone cost close what this keyboard goes for.
I've been using this over a month now with filco SA keycaps, it's awesome! Reminiscent of the model M, heavy clicky tactile feedback, high round keys and spring pinging. What is there not to like? Decently build keyboard, not too heavy, and very customizable. I'm glad I've joined this drop.

Thanks! If you happen to be looking for the same set, they're still available here and there, from what I understand these have been launched around 2013. They really do transform your typing experience and feel on the whole keyboard, totally worth every nickle they ask of 'em.
IronSunsetscales
Yep, The Keyboard Company has them. Way cheaper than custom SA sets, so these might be a good option to get a feel of this profile before committing to more expensive sets. Or just putting them on a board to use and leave at work, not attracting as much attention as fancier keysets.
Got my board a few days before the estimated shipping date. Thanks, Massdrop!
The Greens are actually not that stiff under the fingers.
On the description picture, the USB cable looks like it is braided but it is actually not. The cable is just a regular plain one sleeved with some fishnet.

No option to choose Nordic Layout? Hmmm....
I bought this end of last year, was defective. This happened to another person who bought it at the same time period to, so I don't know how trustworthy these ones are
NerfHerder: Would assume it's ANSI, as ISO boards very rarely pop up on MD.

Depends on where you're located and maybe what language you want. They sell ISO mechs here in Norway, and it's where I bought mine. Although for me, I mostly write in English anyway on the internet, so I wouldn't have too many problems using ANSI.
jonasgilje
Ah my mistake, thought I'd said. I'm from the UK. I am considering just buying an ANSI board, but if I'm going to spend a lot I'd prefer an ISO
Assuming this is only available in ANSI?
How does the QFR compare to the KUL ES-87 in terms of features? swappable/programmable keys etc.

hmm was just looking more for things like swapping the position of the ctrl/caps lock keys and whatnot. Frostyflake adds more then what I would ever use. Still, something to consider, thanks for the info.
Chrisism
Stock, there's no programmable features or key swapping. It's barebones in that respect.
Do these still have the LEDs Quality control issues (going off gradually) ?
iLoveTomb3rY
No LEDs, so no problems :) One less thing to go wrong
I have the full version of this keyboard and it feels great. At first I hated the font on the keys, but I don't really look at my keyboard so I got over it. I might change them out for something later but for now I'm happy. Full disclosure I did buy it off amazon because I needed it soon.
why not Cherry MX Red? :(

I would jump on this right away if there was an option for reds!
I know, but it not in the same price as here :(
I'm used to MX clear.. looking forward to try these out with the greater actuation force

Your Mum always said you should always eat your greens when you were a child.
She's not wrong, when it comes to using CherryMX Green switches since she always knew that you would need to be strong and of great strength, to use these type of switches.
Good to know our mums were never wrong about how important the Greens were in every man's life.
I like browns for typing and I like my keyboards backlit. There's some subjectiveness involved regardless of your choice of keyboard components, but one cannot deny the objective differences between switches. Ultimately, the user must try the available options and determine what works best for their use case and personal preferences.
To each their own.
Since Massdrop has become more widely known, there has been a corresponding drop in the quality and respectfulness of the conversations.
I woul dreally like to have more Key Caps in Lime Green as seen in the 'GMK TA Royal Alpha Typewriter Keycap Set' - I only want the lighter green ones and the darker ones should be the same light green... Also would like the black keys to be in grey like the 'Varmilo VB87M Bluetooth Keyboard' but i guess i ask too much. I really don;t feel like paying over $250 (AU) for some keys to make such a keyboard possible. So maybe someone has what i am after in keys caps in there unused stash or know of a deal or way to get them cheaper? (Would be good if the green ones also had front printing only as well - just to make it all the same (and more difficult to find right?) :D
The green switches on this one actually take my fancy although i have not yet had a MK before, from a YouTube video the greens (or maybe the blues - both from Cherry) appear to be what i'd like to try.
