Traditional Hand-Dyed Fabric
Bright and full of character, the Coastal Chic batik precuts are sure to add a splash of color to your next project. Made by hand for hundreds of years on the islands of Bali and Java, batik fabric is produced using traditional wax stamps and metal chops that resist being dyed to leave distinct colors throughout the fabric. Made from 100-percent cotton, the fabric features a tight weave that allows for detailed designs with crisp, vibrant accents. The 10-inch squares come in a pack of 42 pieces, while the 2.5-inch strips feature 40 pieces.
