For those considering, I highly recommend Cobbler Union Shoes. I have 2 pairs now (Julius and Renoir), and they're both fantastic. Depending on the last, you may be need to size down .5 to 1. The leather is very soft an supple, so even if you have slightly wide (between D-E US like me) you should be fine.
Fit & Finish is superb, and the best part is the arch support for those with flat feet like me.

djaungI have very flat feet (little to no arch) and wide (US E), how would these feel in the toebox? I bought the Meermin balmoral boot following the size but they hurt my feet/too tight so now they are just sitting there in their box. Those were size 9.5, the size was on pt, but everything else wasn't (stiffest shoe ever), even tried to expand them by heating them up which worked, but not as well (there's only so much you can do). I feel a size 10 would be the call here? Love the look of teh boot and its something Im looking for.

MajedchI'd go down a full size. I'm normally an 11UK/12US, and that worked out just fine for the Soho last.

djaungAre you saying I should go down from 8US to 7UK? Because I was already going to do that. Or are you saying I should go from 8US to 7.5US which would be 6.5UK?

OnePunchManHow wide are your feet? Pls see my comment below to majedch.
I'm somewhere between a US 12D and 12E - just depends on the last. Carmina Rain/Forest/Inca lasts are generally made a bit wider, so 11UK works just fine for me. My Meermin RUI 11UK fits well too.
Also - Meermin shoes use a very thick/stiff leather + liner.
CU leather is very soft/supple, with a thinner liner, so its rather gentle on your toes.
Either way 10 probably sounds about right?

MajedchSorry for the confusion. Standard 1 size down is 8us =7uk (which you were planning.)
Why are you considering 7.5us? Do you have very narrow feet? Can you provide any last references for your shoe size?

djaungyea it was the Hiro last, havent tried the Rui last, kinda turned off with meermin for other reasons, but yes, spare my toes lol. Thanks for the advice.
