Can somebody who owns this keyboard comment on the build quality? Is it the same cheap plastic case as the WASD V2?

theastroguyYeah, it's just a WASD V2 with backlighting. Good keyboard, but not the premium feel you might expect for the price point.

theastroguyYes, it is plastic. I actually think Cooler Master's cases are better (more sturdy). My biggest beef with the case is it has some flex right in the front where the space bar is.

aplus01Having the Cooler Master keyboard for two weeks, I have just got the WASD Code. The CM looks more robust. The CM's case material is easy to get dirty but hard to clean. In my case, the flex in the front of space bar is MUCH worse with the CM. After two weeks of use, some key imprints are already going off! I hope the Code will do better. I also prefer the MM keys positions on the Code. It also has DIP switches to configure the keyboard. On the other hand, the CM has OS keys locking without the need to turn the keyboard upside down and "restart" it then and what I really like - it is connected via a full size USB port placed right on the rear side.
