Well, I've been typing on my new Code TKL keyboard for ~1 week, and compared to my previous "best ever" keyboard (DasKeyboard w/Cherry MX blue switches), this is easily the better keyboard, and by far the best I ever used. The Cherry MX clears--no click, slightly more force required, a bit of "bounce"--are my new favorite "feel" in typing. And the adjustable intensity backlighting is amazing. How did I get by w/o low-intensity backlighting in low-light evening situations? It's a wonderful keyboard.

PharmaboyI have both the Code and the Das Keyboard 4C TKL Cherry MX brown and don't really notice any difference in typing except that the code is a little stiffer. However I do notice that the height of the Code is better. It puts less strain on my wist when compared with the 4C.

josdWell, I've been using a Das keyboard for weeks & like it. Had I known about this TKL model, I might have gotten it before I got interested in the Code drop. The price is equivalent, + the Das has their usual handy pair of USB ports on one side.
But after living with the Code for awhile now, I'm impressed with 3 things:
1. It's built like a tank--heavy, solid, zero flex. The 2 little feet on the back work perfectly (unlike some keyboards). 2. The clear switches I got (60 g. force required) instantly produced the best typing experience I've ever had. The add'l stiffness actually feels good to me vs MX blues. 3. But the best feature of all IMO is the adjustable back-lighting. I've never had this feature before, but always needed it (my home office is dimly lit at night and I've had trouble seeing/identifying keys for years). I adjusted the lighting to minimum (very "see-able" low-level white light) and only turn it on at night. It's an ideal feature, one I'll never do without again.
The height is very good, as you mention, but not significantly different from my full-size Das keyboard that I can tell. But if you feel a difference and it puts less strain on your wrist, that's good to hear.
