Got mine as well. Gotta say this is an interesting switch. Getting used to them, after having used browns for a while now. And they're not that bad, to be honest. Still a ways to go, but i can't complain about the board. Excellently made.

I received my Code Keyboard earlier this week and have been getting used to it. I got mine with the Cherry MX Clear switches. I really like the bounce back these keys have, but I'm still getting used to the actuation pressure. I hope I these switches will grow on me. I'm coming from a Poker 3 with Cherry MX Brown switches. I was surprised by how noticeable the difference was between the two switches. Also, the switches will sometimes have a distinct twangy sound to them, likely from the springs themselves.
Anther great drop by MD.

PeterKMy keyboard arrived today, and these are the first words typed on it! I don't think the clears have too much effort at all, although I definitely need to add o-rings. I still don't think these are anywhere near as nice as the old Apple Extended Keyboard IIs (Alps?) but I think I'm pretty happy with it. Is there any place to buy keys with mac option and command symbols to replace the Alt and blank keys? Oooh, this keeps feeling better as I type!

jwardellYou could simply switch the keycaps on the ALT and blank keys. This obviously wouldn't give you a key with an Apple (command) logo on it, but it would fix part of the problem.

Mine shipped right after the drop ended (despite an estimate of the 9th) and I finally retrieved it today from the useless USPS folks. Awesome keyboard (I got the Browns), more solid than my Filco and with a more satisfying "thunk" to the keys. No pinging sound, either, but the switches do need to smooth out from their slightly rough feel right now, as I'm sure they will in a few months.
My only slight critique of the board is that the case could be a sleeker, more minimal design without the ugly seam and pointy profile around the middle, which IMO cheapens the overall look. It should take a page from the Filco design book.

Just that the sides of the case are not totally flat and vertical, but instead angle slightly each side of the seam. Not a big deal by any means, but not the most elegant solution and means the kb doesn't sit flush with my wrist rest.

wordfoolI have the foam wasd wrist rest, which isn't fancy by any means but it reminds me of the wrist rest we had in 1986 with our commodore 128! It seem to fit flush, but it's somewhat squishy. The case is certainly no apple product, but I sort of like the 1980's ruggedness of it. This is my second code. I like my first one so much I decided I needed one at both the home and office.

acatabianNot from this drop, no. But, the codes have proven to be extremely popular here and a new drop could just be a few weeks out, hopefully? I missed the drop that happened in December last year and jumped at the chance when it came on in January. So don't lose heart just yet :)

I think it's going in batches. I live outside the US and I still have "ORDER PLACED WITH THE VENDOR" status.
