AssafKpardon me, i am not trying to be rude here but i often wonder what kind of daily tasks would require fine knives like these? I wouldn't want to damage them when they are so pretty. Do you use them for cooking or...?

bsastorThis knife has the quality of the higher-end knives of cold steel but with the price that you won’t be afraid to use daily for whatever task you come to . for example, slice Fruits, open boxes, screwdriver if you really need , and so much more.

bsastorI feel the same way. And I have a few levels up from this same knife that I use as an edc. But I also carry a flipper utility knife (you know what I mean? It has a replaceable blade?) I do use the Cold Steel, but very rarely, and only for things I know won't trash the blade.

FatalExceptionyeah i kinda get what you mean. but for me i would imagine using it to cut open carton boxes when they arrive in the mail and that's about it. other times it would be in my free hand, flipping it open and close in the office non stop until someone calls security.

bsastorGuess it depends on what your general day involves. For myself I'd never actually *need* a blade in day to day life between office work & running errands, but something like this is far more convenient to have on me than trying to track down a pair of scissors that may or may not be there or opening a package with my keys. Worst thing it'd ever have to do is break through some annoying plastic packaging. I haven't had to break down a box in years or cut rope since I was a kid, so anything larger than this wouldn't make sense for me and just be too bulky to justify bringing every day.
