Still, looks pretty cool. I bought this one for box cutter duty in the house and I bought a Code 4 Tanto on Amazon for everyday carry. Both have the infamous tri-lock and CTS XHP alloy so these are the last folders I'll buy in a good, good while.

Mario.PaulI'm actually thinking of doing the exact same thing. You are right on the money about Andrew Demko's Tri-Ad locking system he patented. It is an excellent design and extremely strong. CTS-XHP is a huge bump up from the AUS-8 they used to offer. My only wish was that they Code 4 used stronger AL than 6061. I was told about this site from a fellow custom knife maker and I would agree that there are some great deal on some solid production knives.

SeadonkeyLoveI just got my Code 4 today. If the Recon 1 is anything like this knife, it is a beauty and a quality piece. The action feels smooth and there is no play in the pivot. The lock gives you confidence and the blade slices paper like it's not there. YMMV
@muffins Shucks, that's too bad. I would still recommend either of these knives if you can find them locally.
