I notice one thing: EVERY SINGLE PERSON chiming in with a variation of "it's not worth it" DOESN'T HAVE ONE, HAS NEVER HEARD ONE. I kinda wish I knew this was coming, I might have waited, but what's done is done, and my C4 is easily my go-to portable player.
IMO $350 is a great price, I can't imagine it going much lower. Sound quality is undeniably excellent, especially with the fast attenuation filter enabled (I only like the slow filter with multi-BA IEMs). In the winter it's easy to carry everywhere in a coat pocket, or even a large shorts pocket when it's warmer. Either way, I've found it incredibly useful to have something I can easily carry around the house, powering anything I kwn, thst sou ds great through HD800s

SlowCousinPeteAt 0.003% THD+N it's on par with Clip+ which has list price of $20. But C4 uses discrete design, which unlike Clip's integrated solution consumes a lot of power, which has to be compensated by larger battery. Perhaps those saying "it's not worth it" are by design more believable, as they're unbiased by not spending their money.

SlowCousinPeteYooo I agree I love my Colorfly C4's too! Somuch so that I bought a second one few years ago already and now this price is incredible... Should I buy a third just in case? You wrote: "Sound quality is undeniably excellent, especially with the fast attenuation filter enabled (I only like the slow filter with multi-BA IEMs)." What do you mean by that? I have absolutely no idea what you mean mate :) I have note attenuation filter option on my C4! Please explain and expand on that. Cheers
