Only buying this because it claims it's made out of Carbon Fiber, hence this has to be lighter and far stronger than any other normal, leather-based wallet.
Also interested in seeing this up close to satisfy my curiosity.

ElrickI can assure you it is all real carbon fiber! Not only is it lighter and stronger than a leather wallet, your car will gain at least 5 HP just from having it in your pocket! ;)

CommonFibersForget about speed, it's all about protecting yourself in any gun heist. When someone shoots you in the heart my trusty Carbon Fiber wallet will hopefully stop the bullet from going through me ; )
Pity MassDrop doesn't offer Carbon Fiber jackets for sale here, I would indeed buy a couple.

CommonFibersThis isn't a test a wallet should be trialed against. The main issue with wallets is wear and tear. So proper test should include thousands iterations of folds/unfolds and abrasion resistance.

ToxicWe've done that too, but the video is kinda boring... We've opened and closed our wallets 50,000 times and had no change in strength!

CommonFibersThat's great to hear! How about abrasion resistance? The wallet will be kept in pocket/purse with keys or some other things that will incur a wear on it. Did you do some testing in this area?

ToxicFrom years of selling wallets and customer feedback, we know the wallets are very abrasive resistant. Over time, the carbon will lose its hi-gloss finish and become more matte, but many people actually like this. The other thing that we have noticed in rare cases is that the wallet is so durable it can wear through a pair of pants in about a year. This only has been reported by about 1% of our customers so we believe it is somewhat based on the fit of pants, how active the person is, and what pocket they keep the wallet in. We are actively seeking ways to soften the corners.

CommonFibersIf nothing else, that video made my head hurt, and none of these tests made any kind of sense. I know that there is no way the parts where the wallet folds are made of carbon fiber, as it's very ridged. This is not to mention that the kakies(and the wallet) looked like they where still dry when they came out of the washer, you where able to handle it supprisingly easily once it came out of the dryer, espechially as carbon conducts heat incredubly well. Running it over a car proves nothing besides you can put a large amount of weight on it without any problems. Hitting it with a pipe is just.... You don't really show any bit that was actually damaged from the shotgun, besides that you can see something is flopping around. You used a pointed practice tip rather then a broadhead with the crossbow, and I'm not sure what it's supposed to prove. And the 30-6...... You speed through the footage making it harder to see the damage. If anything, understanding why you did something like this with this type of product made from these kinds of materials made my head hurt and doubt the product even more. Hell, you couldn't seem to stop moving it around long enough to let someone clearly examine any damage that may have occurred without having to constantly pause.

BluJay614BluJay, So sorry to hear that your head is hurting! I am the owner of the company, designer of the product, and producer of the video! I can assure you every test was real and not faked. I can also assert that we like to have fun and by no means expected people to take this video seriously (4 years ago)! Why should a wallet be shot with a crossbow? Any wallet run over by a car will survive! The washing machine... well that actually does happen regularly and that test is 100% real. Same with the dryer; the carbon was no hotter than a fresh pile of laundry from a dryer! As for shooting the wallet with guns, yeah they destroyed it! That was the point. Want to see us destroy them in other ways? Head to our YouTube channel and you can watch us cut them in half with a Samurai sword! https://youtu.be/iWgHFnBITAk
Sorry about speeding everything up. We didn't want to bore everyone with hours of looking at wallets. You can always slow down the video if you want to enjoy it for longer!
As for where the wallet folds, that is 100% carbon fiber. My wife and I invented a carbon fiber hinge in college and we use a laser to vaporize the resin from that area to make it soft and flexible. *MIND BLOWN* Don't believe me?
