I happened to purchase a Comply tips variety pack (isolation, sport, and comfort) last month for my 'Jaybird BlueBuds X' headphones and I have to say that they completely changed the headphone. The stock tips unfortunately just weren't doing it for me, so I grabbed Complys...and the headphones went from expensive, decent sounding buds (for all of 20 minutes -- they'd constantly fall out and just annoy) to isolated, comfortable, beautiful-audio injectors.
I get some of the commenters' concerns about durability though -- the material is mushy and can lose shape/rigidity after a lot of use or, if you're anything like me and you just unceremoniously toss your headphones/buds in your pack full of heavy books/binders without a protective case, they can become permanently dented/compressed. They also pick up debris from your bag pretty well and cleaning them off can be a pain.
So despite the somewhat high cost for foam...if you're not liking the stock tips for your buds, you want to try something that might be a little more comfortable for you, and you know you'll need to take a bit of care covering/protecting the tips...the Complys can go a long way to making your earbuds a better investment like they did with mine.
Just for added info: • I use size 'Small' stock tips and ordered/use size 'Small' Comply tips.
• To my knowledge the Comply tips being sold here on Massdrop are NOT for Jaybird BlueBuds -- I bought the 'Custom Jaybird Tips' that were made specifically for the Jaybird line through the company website: http://www.complyfoam.com/products/vjb-variety-pack-custom-jaybird-bluebuds-x-tips/ .
• I know I will get some Jaybird BlueBud hate from the audio wizards out there, but I like them for running and they don't tear my hair out like my old Koss Porta Pros (don't laugh!). I am no audiophile, so I bow down to the majority of your guys' audio knowledge and expertise and do not pretend to have any authority on what is a truly 'good' high fidelity listening experience or headphone. =P
